Friday, December 2

10:00 AM – 9:00 PM Christmas in the Country: Wisconsin’s premier, nationally recognized Christmas boutique, featuring some of the finest Midwestern folk artists and Christmas artisans in a juried show. Cedarburg High School Choral Singers, 6:30-7:30 p.m. The show/sale runs December 2-4. Admission $3.00. Festive Friday Eves celebrates an exciting series of five family-oriented, evening events during the holiday season throughout the settlement’s 25 unique shops. Admission is free.

6:00 PM Holiday Magic in the Village of Wauwatosa: the holiday tree lighting ceremony and Santa’s arrival takes place in Root Common Park. Enjoy the Heralding Trumpeters, Carolers, and something warm to drink while indulging in the holiday spirit. Stick around after the ceremony for a lighted horse-drawn wagon ride through the Village from 6:30-9:00PM. Enjoy a little one-on-one time with Mr. Claus at PAULINA, face painting at Yo Mama and Christmas crafts for kids at B GREEN on Harwood.

Saturday, December 3

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Stop, Shop & Restore – Holiday Shopping Shorewood: If you need to get your holiday shopping started, this is a great way to shop local in downtown Shorewood. Free trolley rides will transport you to complimentary relaxation stations along the shopping route, including free hand, foot and chair massages, complimentary salon services and more. Sample tea, beer and wine, attend cooking demonstrations, enjoy complimentary homemade holiday cookies, hot cocoa and cider, get your holiday purchases wrapped for free courtesy of Shorewood High School Orchestra students and get in the holiday spirit with the music of carolers and string/brass quartets throughout the district. This special holiday event will also host visits with Santa for the little ones and pet photos with Santa to benefit the Humane Society, kids’ ornament-making and local shopping.

 12:00PM-1:30 AM Brady Street Festivus: come down to Brady street and air your grievances, let people know how they disappointed you this year and enjoy shopping in the many boutiques and unique businesses we all love on Brady Street. This year they have teamed up with Hunger Task Force and businesses are offering great deals with the donation of can goods.

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Holiday Train: Each year, thousands of people gather along Canadian Pacific Railway’s route to enjoy the arrival of a brightly decorated train and watch entertainers perform a live holiday concert. When it stops in Milwaukee not only will Santa Claus be onboard, you will also enjoy a performance by Willy Porter. The Amtrak Station will be transformed into Santa’s Workshop after 6:00 p.m. Family friendly festivities will include: cookie decorating, ornament creating and writing letters to Santa.

Sunday, December 4

9:30 AM Milwaukee Santa 5K: Run or walk with hundreds of Santas at the Milwaukee Santa Shuffle! All participants receive a santa stocking hat and event shirt. Make stops at the on-course candy stations, pucker up as you run beneath the mistletoe, enjoy the holiday music and warm up at the finish with hot cider and cookies.

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Wishes in Wonderland at Dave & Busters: The 2nd Annual “Wishes in Wonderland” will include a wonderful breakfast and photograph with Santa at Dave and Buster’s with free games, music by local choirs, gifts, giveaways and appearances by local sport celebrities. 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. A special craft activity of the making of an Ornament or a 2012 Greeting Card will be available for a seperate $1.00 donation and sport celebrities will be judging the entries. Don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to enjoy a fun filled morning for all ages!

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Boerner’s Botanical Gardens Holiday Celebration: This annual tradition includes crafts, story time with Milwaukee Children’s Author Lois Ehlert, and a visit with Santa.
